Our Mission
Recent advances in the theory and practice of multi-dimensional chromatography, and improvements in commercially available instrumentation are fueling rapid growth in this area. To realize the full potential of this growth, new users need training in the technique. The mission of the Center is to help address this need through training both industry scientists, and students who are aspiring chromatographers.
Our Team
- Dwight Stoll, Ph.D. - Stoll Laboratory Principal Investigator, with 20 years experience in multi-dimensional separations.
Dr. Stoll has instructed more than 10 short courses in two-dimensional liquid chromatography. - Tina Dahlseid - Stoll Laboratory Staff Scientist, 10 years experience in multi-dimensional separations
- Thomas Lauer - Full Stack Developer in the Stoll Laboratory, with four years experience in multi-dimensional separations
- Bob Pirok, Ph.D. - Expert in multi-dimensional separations of polymers, and data analysis of multi-dimensional chromatography
Our Supporters
- State-of-the-art instrumentation and software for hands-on training in two-dimensional liquid chromatography is provided by Agilent Technologies.
- Funding from the United States National Science Foundation and the Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation has supported several fundamental studies that have led to simulation tools that are used in the MDCI courses.
